on my router I have an option that is MTU...I've never messed with it and it is set to 0...should I change that to get faster internet or leave it alone....also what should I change it to?

That depends on your connection....if it's DSL..then it should be set to 1492.....if it's cable...then 1500....

i set mine (both router and PCs) @ 1500 since i'm using cable!

the biggest speed boost for broadband is to tweak ur TCP receive window! nothing better than that! ;)
