Somewhere wishing i wasn't there.
Well in my previous threads I have descibed my multipliers not working on my Mobo even though im using MP chips that are factory unlocked. Im thinking about RMA'ing the board. How do I RMA a board? But before I do that would it be possible for me to use an unlocked 1.1Ghz athlon to make sure its the board? I've got an MSI K7D by the way. Thanks for any info.

Edit: I know my writing skills suck.

Yes, you can run a single unlocked T-bird on the board to test the multi's.

You can contact MSI's support number and go to the RMA dept.

I had one board that wouldn't allow me to change the multi before, too. It also wouldn't run any CPU's with multis over 12.5. I RMA'd it.

My board didnt allow me to adjust the multis on my 1700+ Tbreds. I tried upping Vcore and everything, but it didnt work at all. Didnt POST. It runs my "XP2100+s" (modded 1700+s :D ) Ok tho.
