Multiplier problems with a7a266

For some reason i cant get the multipliers to change in the bios, I have connected the L1's and still wont work. I also cant get the FSB past 122

On the motherboard connect the #10 dip switch together if there isnt one. That is if you got the older version. You can solder a piece of wire or just use a silver pen to connect the 2 dots. Then multiplier settings can be changed from the BIOS.

i have the version with all 10 switches and i still cant adjust the multiplier.

you need bios version 1004 or above

Hiya's,

I know this as maybe said before but for guys like me i thought a fresh post would be ok

Got a TB 1.2 on the A7a266, Now the Bios is underclocked to say the least lol, As you can't with any bios so far have multiplier and FSB working together in the bios/jumperless mode so i finally read n re-read a post about managing to achieve higher Multipliers

1...Goto Jumper mode (JEN 1-2)
2...Set Dip #10 (or join connects where #10 should be) to ON
3...Now set the Multiplier via Dips #6 to#9 accordingly
4...Set Dip #5 to DDR=OFF, SDR=ON
5...Power Up as normal after checking bios as she boots
6...UNPLUG PC, DO NOT GO THROUGH SHUTDOWN SEQUENCE
7...Just move JEN jumper back to 2-3 (Jumperless)
8...Boot into Bios and UP all you want

Hope i remembered it right lol, Only took me 8hrs to absorb it from a BB post (OK so i'm slow lol)

lol best say 1.2 at 1.4 at 1.75v H2o cooling

I have unlocked the chip, and i am rnning bois version 1005 I still cant change the multi in the bois and I'm really lucky if the dip switches will change it and post.
