wasnt sure if this was the right section to post in, but it relates to sound so i thought i would put it here.

I have the DTT2200 5.1 Cambridge Soundworks sound system and when i play my mp3s i get my music coming out of 4 speakers the back ones and the 2 front ones all except the centre speaker. At first i thought it was broken, but when I use the creative surround mixer and hit the test button and the women says centre speaker or whatever I hear sound from it. I am using a 5.1 card.

Is it just that mp3s arent geared toward playing in 5 channels like that and this is normal or do I have a problem.

Thanks

I don't know if Playcenter is the same on the 5.1 as it is on my Audigy, but here is how I get the center channel to work.

First, open PlayCenter. On the right side, nest to the EAX symbol there is a > button that will slide out that side of the player, so push it. The slide-out menu should have an option called "CMSS." Click on that, and then click on "on." That enables the center channel.
