Here's a pic of my two alpha mods working in my rig.

Alpha 8045 on CPU
Alpha PEP66 on northbridge

Cut them to size with a 14" bandsaw (Cuts like butter through the metal even with a wood blade)
 
Yeah Szech, that's a thick rubber band double wrapped around the 60mm PEP fan and bound to the plumbers strap which is laid across the top of the 8045 under the cam locks.
 
cut those three pieces off and use them for ram sinks>?>?

dunno kinda looks like it would work...
 
Ya I was thinking the same thing and then it hit me, slice it in half the long way and there still will be six fins on each piece, then AS epoxy each one to the RDRAM since I only have two sticks and they are single sided. I'm gonna fire up the bandsaw again in the morning.:D
 
I reapplied ASIII today, took about 15 minutes.:D

I took a few more snaps when it was dissasembled.

Here's what it looks like with the fan off.
