My Dualie is here! W00tage!!

Wow, this a real suprise! Mailman got here super early this time, which is a first in history, with not 1 but both my packages!

Box#1- Contained MSI K7D Master-L, 2x XP1700 Tbred B's, 1x XP2100 Tbred B, 1 stick generic ram (PC2700-256mb) for the back up 1.6Ghz folder and 1 used SLK-800.

Box#2- Contained 1 brand spankin' new SLK-800 with all the fixins, 2x 80mm Vantec stealth fans, 1 Tube of Artic Silver 3.

Total cost= $230

Getting both boxes early and at the same time = Priceless

Now i'm off to the auto parts shop to get a rear window defogger repair kit to mod the 1700's and get this sucka up and runnin today! w00t!

Ok guyz, i got good news and bad news.
Bad news: Earlier today as i was modding the chips to run MP, I started to get chest pains. I relaxed for a bit and it went away. I resumed to mod and the chest pains returned. I freaked out and called my next door neighbor and asked him to call the medix for me. I was scared to be alone at that time. Got to the hospital, underwent some heart exams and all is ok *whew*. Doc said i have some bruising between the heart and my left lung. I spent a total of 5 hours. Got home and to cheer myelf up went ahead with the build.

Good news: 1) I ain't dying of a heart attack 2) The mod to the chips went like a breeze. Crazy glue on the gaps and rear defogger repair kit to close the last L5. 1st shot and bingo! Both chips a success!! Can you say pwnage? Built the dualie and she's up and running as i type. Running default speed at the moment and just did a clean install of the OS. All updates and drivers installed. She's pretty fast too. I'm very impressed with my first dualie, w00t! Now to have some fun and start cranking her up a bit. Gotta see what she's got

LOL ! Well i finally got the BlingBling ( dualie ) folding away. Not to happy because top speed is XP2000+ (12.5x133) @ 1.65v. I also notice the vcore really undervolts like mad. I think my psu might be too weak to push anymore. Anything above that will get stuck on the dos boot up screen or give me the "file is corrupted or missing" error but i clock it back to 12.5x133 and she boots up and run with no problem. I have a gut feeling it's the weak a$$ psu i have at the moment.

These 1700's Tbred B are tested to run 2.2ghz+ on air on an NF7s 2.0, and I know my ram (mushkin pc2100 512mb stick) will run 160 garanteed.

Rails with the PC&C 300w are:

12v = 11.40v
5v = 4.81v
3.3v = 3.39v

Yeah, I know Waiting on a refund from a guy i bought an enermax 465w that turned out to be a dud . This is what i'm getting for the dualie

Dang. I managed to get me one 2100 Tbred B on the deal. I missed the other one cuz the seller had to help his sister out, otherwise I would've gotton the 2 2100's

Well I managed to max the cpu's out (12.5x150) and corrupted the OS . Formatting again to reinstall. I'm just gonna format and leave the rest for tomorrow. I need to rest after my hospital ordeal today.
