My fan died :( I dont know why but I cant get it to work. Its about 2 weeks old and a few days ago it got a little fussy. I had to wiggle wires to keep it goin which made me think it was a loose connection but I cant get the thing to work. If you have any ideas how I could test it please reply.

I also have a few other quick q's. I need cheep and quiet fans - one or two 120mm fans, one 80mm, and a pretty fast 60mm with less then 35db of sound output - any ideas where to get some (i need to be able to pay with paypal.)

Also, I would like to get some leds to put in the fans and around my computer (either red or blue) and I'm looking for a site with those.

And lastly, if I put a rheostat on my 80mm 80CFM delta (hsf) will it be quieter then a 50CFM fan while its running at 50CFM? Which rheostat do I need to do this? I have a 100ohm but I dont know what that even means (well I know its resistance but I dont understand what that is.)

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

First off, if the fan is 2 weeks old, can it be returned or exchanged? What kind of connection does it use, 3 or 4 pin? If it is connected to a mobo fan header, do you have another fan with 3 pins that you can try out on that header? If it is 4 pin, do you have another fan to plug into it to see if it is the 4 pin and not the fan?

Second off, here is a place I have bought some stuff which had good prices:
http://www.svcompucycle.com/svcompucycle/fans.html
Heres another: http://www.crazypc.com/products/fans/fans.htm#fans
***I know the second (CrazyPC) does accept PayPal but I don't think the first does.

Third off, how about Lazer LED's for case illumination? Here is the link just in case:
http://www.crazypc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=120199&Product_Code=PC8460
These are also at CrazyPC which accepts PayPal.

Forth off, I am not sure. Hopefully some one else can help some more. Hope I helped a little. :)
