My mobo has q-fan...... is that like Rheo?

that be great if i could control my fans through bios.... my a7v8x has somehting called q-fan... seems you can anyone no for sure?

i believe thats able to control fan speed for fans plugged into the mobo. its not like a rheo in that it quickly turns the fan on/off to acheive different voltages instead of using a resistor to dissipate the extra voltage as heat.

no, you cant use it to lower the tornado's speed because the tornado cant be plugged into the mobo (it'll cook the head like instantly)

Since the tornado and delta 80 fans require very high voltage/power compared to the slower fans, it isn't advisable to use the mobo header or you'll fry the mobo header.
