My new build

I need advice from all you AMD folks. I know they are about to come out with Ryzen, but it will probably be too much at 1st and my PC has been dead for months while I was trying to troubleshoot it. My wife and I are on SS and normally I have to buy 1 piece at a time. Since we are about to get some extra I'm gonna spend about 600 on upgrading. I'm looking at these items.

Fx 8370
Asus m5a99fx pro r2.0
Nzxt source 220 case
2x 8gb Crucial Ballistix Tactical DDR3 1600 LP ram
Already have 212 evo and drives as well as a EVGA 850BQ power supply

If anyone has constructive advice on these please feel free. Thanks for the help.

Forget about the FX. Amd is launching its Ryzen CPU's in a week or so.

For the 6cores/12 threads (which seems performing in the Broadwell-E ball park), it will cost you something like $450 for CPU+MoBo+2x8GB DDR4.

I also agree Ryzen will be plenty cheap enough for $600 or less...

You will need to reactivate windows when changing the motherboard. There is an 1-800 phone number for doing that. What is the current OS you are running? The latest generation of Intel equipment (I'm thinking Ryzen will be the same) will not work with Windows 7.
