MY PCMark Hdd score went from 1000 to 500 without any reason

checked everything that might cause that
hdd is master on primary
cd is slave on sec.
no other devices in gthe system
installed microsoft intel application accelerator which tells me that my hdd runs fine (UDMA5= UDMA 100)
hdd: seagate 40 giga 5400

use "Seatool" to check the physically condition of the drive itself. btw, tell me what kind of model you own..i got a barracuda IV, which is 40g, 7200rpm, but my score is around 920?!

Mine is ST340810A
I don't really know how ur 7200 could get less than my old score ~1000-1100 but i am sure about mine
maybe u have the same problem like mine
low score for ur hardware
