vixro said:yes, on programs that list 2 4 6, I have chosen 6 and it showed 6 (perhaps reverted to 4 or 8x while doing the test, I'm not sure) The picture quality appeared to have AA, so I don't think it was removed.
Although, my lost coast demo looked like pure *** when I ran it at 6x, I think I will have to do that one again, it probably did go to 0 in that game.

vixro said:You were right. I reran the tests at 4x and noticed the FPS went down. I guess I had 0xAA when I tried to run 6x on the tests.
The CS:S, HL2:lost cost, HL2:ep1 scores have all been changed to reflect this.
The performance increases were much lower.
Looks like source based games or AMD needs to update the drivers a bit for older games. On newer games like Quake 4, I noticed a good boost in performance. I can't imagine how well DX10 games will run and am hoping I will have a chance to test these soons. The 3dmark06 scores were promising.
vixro said:Do you have a power supply (or two) to support 4x PCIE connectors for power to the two cards?
vixro said:Yep, make sure any tests you ran for high quality are done at 4xAA too on your card so that your comparisons are accurate.

he's been adding it to the first postViperJohn said:Where are you putting/posting all this info???
Viper
vixro said:I left programs open to give a better idea of how your performance is in a real world setting. You don't turn down all your graphics and close every program you have before you play your games (at least, I don't).
vixro said:Hey, that's the point of a second monitor. If I truely ran a test, I would have kept two versions of mirc open and utorrent but I figured that wouldn't be the norm.
I had about 60 processes running for the tests.
