Hello i need help with my laptop ASUS ROG Strix 503V.

ive had inside laptop two hard drives first one are called C second one are splited into partions D & F.
But there is problem after launch my laptop and enter My Computer there was some loading(I never had this before), and after loading D & F disappears for no reason.

In "computer menagment" there are seen but not "My Computer"
I can't use CrystalDiskInfo program for SMART logs because D & F disappears before CrystalDiskInfo open up.
I don't know what is happening just a few months ago everything was fine.

Tell me did hard drive can be damaged if are almost full?
Because D & F are almost full, and before thay happen im slowly transfer all data into into my external hard drive.
Its kinda strange because ive had few times almost full hard drives but they never disappears like that.

Before

After

computer menagment screen

i leave screens, from "My computer"and "computer menagment"
PS Disc C are no longer Red but Blue, because ive clean up few days ago and im stiill clean up from unwnted stuff.

Have you tried restarting it?
Were there any Windows updates recently?

Yes i resarted, they came back but still after that disappears
Oh...update i never thought about that.

By the way! ive managed(Somehow before disappears) take a look on second hard drive by using CrystalDiskInfo
Its in polish but who knows SMART ID codes will understand whats goin on, its seems something are broken?
I don't know what is causing this.

Not sure what those are... but if it's showing errors, the drive is likely on the wY out.

Is the laptop still under warranty? If not, take that second drive out and stick it in a USB cradle and see if you can read it as an external drive and then run CDI on it. How old are these drives and how many power up hours are on them according to the last time your were able to check the SMART info with CDI?

I had this happen to my main system a few weeks back. In my case, it was the second NVME drive.

I rebooted the machine, and it still was missing.

I powered down the machine for 30 seconds and powered back up...the drive has been there ever since.

I have a Lenovo laptop that I bought on eBay. Two weeks after I started using a used laptop, my hard drive also disappeared.

:welcome:

This looks like its an older laptop with a 7th gen Intel core i7. Spinninig hard drives do wear out. Pulling the drive and putting it into a USB caddy or cable or whatever *may* let you recover data but it is certainly at the end of its life. It wouldn't be unusual at this age.

I don't even know how to deal with it. Is my K disk subject to recovery through some software? I'll listen to any options. My friend told me to write to specialists. They can perform a preliminary system diagnostic before proceeding to restore my hard drive data. First, they have to return the missing disk! I'll ask these specialists about every action in the process of working with my laptop. It's a pity that I can no longer contact the person who sold it to me. He probably knew about this problem.
