my slot1 500p3 wont overclock ????

hello i recently tried to overclock my slot 1 500mhz p3 and i was able to get it to 515 by increasing the fsb to 103/34mhz. but whenever i try ti get it to 560 by going to 112/33mhz windows loads fine but whenever i try to play unreal tournement it crahses what is up wit that?? also i can go to 133/44mhz will this urt any of my pci/agp devices?? also i have a fic vb-601 motherboard if this helps and 64mb of cas2 pc100 ram.

If your P3 500 is a katmai, don't expect too much out of it, Unless you intend to deep freeze the cpu, it won't OC well, and this is well known of the cpu... sorry.

have you tried upping the voltage?

I have had 2 pIII Katmai's. A 450 @ 567 and a 550 @ 677.
The 550 needed 2.3v and the 450 needed 2.1v.
This was the max I could get.
My 633cCo cele will do 1030 @ 1.95v
I have a water block and peltier coming, and I will see what I can
get out of the old pIII as well as the 2 celerons I have.
