wen my pc is off, in teh middle of the night me sub and speakers start bicking up some signal and som dude talking somes out my speakers...

Have you noticed any floating table lamps?

Lol.

Umm, wired or are they some speakers with a wireless receiver or something? (I don't know if they make something like that, but I know they make systems with wireless speakers, maybe if you have one its picking up the neighbors or something)

When my Dad was much younger, he had a buddy with a redneck-pimped out Camaro. The guy had a CB radio in there with some ridiculous amp in the 500-1000 watt range. When he was talking into the mic, his voice would come out of the speakers of the car parked next to him - even if the radio was off...

Avast has startled me in the middle of the night before as well - "Virus database has been updated" *yikes*

Posts like this pop up every once in a while, really the only thing you can do besides turning off your speakers is to shield your speakerwire and the subs themselves. In my case I have a metal plate bolted to the top and sides of my sub, looks cool and blocks the neighboor's CB signal.

Ok guess this is good a time as any to speak up...I have also had this happen on my Z5500s. I didn't want to say anything, because lets face it, I thought I was losing my damn mind, you can imagine what others would say. LOL

I mean, hell look a couple of posts up. :bday:

I hear a news station(and sometimes just static or other peoples phone conversations) through my rears and sub when my cell rings in my house. I know if my phone is going to ring in advance, I always freak my friends out when I tell them when their phone is going to ring.

But, like hardin said, Unless you wake up with lamps floating or your coffee tables are all upside down, its nothing to worry about.

it could be any type of wireless signal causing it. before I rewired my system with shielded wire this happened with every type of signal I had in the house.

Some time ago one of the speaker plug was half in and out out of the jack and I guess It was picking up radio station.

It would be nice if you could get a recording of those voices :p
Not to uncommon,it also happens when guitar amp cables sometimes; you can pick up radio waves and it plays on the amp!!!

When you look at your speakers I bet you feel you're not alone (j/k) these things are pretty creepy but happen many times (to me at least). Mostly when using high power equipment.
