May drop down to 1GB so I can go ahead and get hdds and better cooling system had to go down to 3.6GHz cpu temp was at full load was 132 degrees F now at full load it's 120 degrees F

you can get 2GB of Patriot value ram for 200, that should be enough.

hell, running F@H, AIM, firefox, thunderbird, winamp, plus photoshop, i have no problems with my system bogging down with 1gb of dual channel ram... 4gb is flat out overkill, 2gb might come in handy at times, 4gb is just overkill IMO

definitely pick up a more powerful fan for that HSF and pump your P4's FSB some more

not trying to bash your speakers.... but having them that close to your comp and the magnets on the woofers not ****in them up.... cant be that powerful. i got some massive speakers for my comp system. and if i have any speaker within 2 feet my comp just freezes up and i have to reboot and has caused some loss of memory on my old comp but yeh. i got some funny pics but seriously .. you might not be noticing anything now but if it was me id be really looking into a new location for them speakers
