Im using MBM 5 and it is giving me temperatures for my CPU at idle of between 53-57c

these seem really high to me compared to most other people on the forums.

My computer details are below and in the case i have 3 fans 2 80mm mounted in the top as exhaust and side as intake and 1 120 mm mounted in the back as an intake i have a spot for two more 80 mm fans in front and will probably add fans there. i should probably add that i have never had my computer freeze up or anything that would indicate it overheating and i play ut2k4 quite a bit

what do you think is wrong?

thanks

WELCOME TO THE FORUMS

I would turn the 120mm rear fan as an exhuast..Mount 2 more fans in the front of the case, or a 120mm in the front if it will fit..

In the mean time try this. Remove the side panel and get a desk fan or simular device and blow air into the case..This is the best air flow possible..Test your temp with 100% cpu usage..When you report back with your temps, please include the following temps..:burn::)
Cpu, load and idle
System, case/mobo
Ambient (room)

Do you have Prime 95 prog. to put a load on your system?
Later you'll need to remove the fan grids from the case to increase air flow and reduce noise..Make sure your wiring and cables are out of the air path's.
Try the above test with the side panel off and report back..:)

ok i will change the direction of my fan and download prime95 then report back with the results.

do you reccomend the two fans for the front as intake fans then?
