My thingy says that my VCore is at 1.8V and that seems a little high...the mobo is set to auto detect the VCore...should I lower that to get some better temps....here are the specs

Tbird 800mhz (soon to be O/Ced)
FIC AZ11E mobo

What is the default speed for a tbird...should I lower the Voltage? Thanx

Not high, it's normal. Most all my boards default at about 1.8V and two default at 1.85V.

Lowering it will probably not do anything for you as far as temps go and could possible hurt stability.

how do you change the Vcore, could that be done by taking the setting off of Default? I got a Gigabyte 7DX board.
