Natural Selection?

Latly i've done back to this game since i got bored of counter-strike (a.k.a Cheater-Strike) every time you get a good score admins ban or kick you... (stupid 4:1 ratio) anways for those of you who have never hear of natural selection it's like starcraft,

you have the terrain (tsa marins) and the zerg (xeon lifefrom). marins get a command chair were the commander drops buildings for marins to build and supply at. The aliens have diffrent evolution froms that they can change to.

Im sure the site has a better expanination, if anyones intersest in playing post and well hook each other up

Yeah it's a very cool mod but u need steam to play the latest version that's why I don't play it anymore.

Ditto to that. I play it during LANs, but otherwise, it's just too difficult; you need real-time communication, and that proves difficult when you don't have a microphone and a very fast internet connection. Otherwise though, the game is a blast if you have a competant person at the controls.

Yeah, games can be easily ruined if you have an incompetent commander at the head of your team.

thats why they invented the eject commanded button, Ive seen my team loseing cause a dumb commander and swe caught up beat the aliens even if they were ornos and killed there hive... game lasted 3 hours.

still great but I must admit that haveing a mic really helps

I just started playing it again. I really recommend version 2.0 to everyone because it is the newest version that does NOT require Steam. The game is very addictive, best HL mod ever to me.

i used to play it last summer but then all my friends got bored of it and playing by yourself just sucks. i might have a lan in a monthy or so and whip it back out again

i play the newst steam version, and i still find it good they made a lot of improvments on it, things are more fair ( ornoses can actually die , about freaking time! )
