Hey all,
I caught my Duron being naughty, I woke up early and went to see if I was crunching WU's and found that my Duron 1 gig was indeed crunching away...I happilly fiddled w/ a prog or two and went back to check on SETI and found her "idle"...as soon as I turned my back my CPU was napping....bad! Seriously though, does this happen often? Why would it go idle out of the blue like that? I do not use this puter very often so I am not always charting it;s progress, I am concerned that when I am away my puter may think it is break time and decide to slack off!!
Do I need to threaten it and take away it's networking privilages w/ other computers or is there a rational explanation?
(she is crunching away happily again...?)
Ps. I am not talking idle beacuse Berkley is down, I mean in the middle of a WU at 54% done and it goes idle for no reason
