Recommend a Wireless Configuration Utility (to replace WZC)

So Im sick of Windows Zero Configuration (WZC) dropping my connection and the Linksys utility is a resource hog and crashes on occasion (rarely). Can someone recommend another configuration utility thats good? Doesnt have to be freeware either, something clean/simple, and stable (Like what WZC should be if it worked), profiles would be nice though :)

Anyone have a better one? Im still having some issues with this one but it is better than the Linksys and WZC

In my experience...and I use a lot of wireless at work...the machines that have a hard time with Window's Zero COnfig also have a hard time with the 3rd party and the proprietary programs as well. So much so that I just work with the WZC and turn off the others. I'll leave them installed, but just make it so they do not start with out my asking.

What is the specific wireless device?

Linksys WPC55AG - A/G/B Wireless PCI Card, the only problem is I have issue with disconnects on ocassion. And I would use WZC but it takes a long time to reconnect if it loses the connection same with Linksys (except it uses even more resources)

EDIT: Im going to try using WZC again and see how it goes, connecting to the network and then stopping the WZC service

Another thing I am thinking is, if you have access to the settings of the wireless access point , try using different channels. Sometimes it makes a world of difference. Remember though, always change settings via a wired connection.

Before when I used WZC i would turn it off using services.msc now when I go to command prompt and type C:\Windows\System32\net.exe stop wzcsvc and then my internet stays up no matter where I am, all night!!!!!!! yay! and now I dont need a third party program.
