need advice guys. Connect two psus or buy new?

Ive read alot about connecting 2 psus together and am not afraid to do that. What im wondering is if it is worth it? I really want to overclock a new sytem i will be building in the next3 months
i will be buying something like a nforce2,2100jiuhb xp cpu,2 80gig hds,2cdrom(cdrw's),ati9800 or nv35,a gig of 3500 ram etc. I will be watercooling and aiming for 2500 mhz.
My question is whether a enermax 465p-ve and a 300watt addtronics hooked up together would be as good as a 460 to 550 watt antec truepower or fortron 450 to 550?
I could save more money by hooking 2 together but at what cost?
Anyone with experience hooking 2 together would really help.
All opinions are valid. I know my friggin enermax 465 will probably not be able to handle the new system as it is notorios for low 5volt lines.

I think you really want identical supplies to attempt a dual setup, and even then I'm not sure how good an idea it is. Do yourself a favor and pick up a Fortron 350, 400, or 530, or an Antec True Power 430, 480, or 550. You won't regret the investment.

Sparkle is a the retail sales arm of Fortron, the supplies are identical. Newegg has finally picked up the Fortron labled version, bringing their price down from $42 to $32 for the same thing.

Thanks larva. You are probably right and that is what i was thinking too but it kind of sucks.
I bought this pos enermax last year because it was reccomended so much only to find out it was no good for overclocking etc.
Is there anyone who has set up a dual sytem who can shed some light on this. Seems like from the articles ive read that it works well but i have not seen any results or data on the procedure(connecting 2 psu's).
Will newer cpu's(barton etc) be using the 12v line? If they do maybe this enermax will work. It always has a very good 3.3 and 12 volt line just the 5 volt i worry about.

Honestly I would just sell the Enermax and grab a Fortron/Sparkle 400 or 530 myself. Enermax strikes me as a company that is better at marketing than at PSU design, and while they're by no means bad; they aren't that great either.

As far as the 12v CPU issue goes, that may depend more on the board - if it has an ATX12V connector you may be able to get by with the Enermax. You could always try it and see, if the E-max doesn't cut it you can always upgrade then.
