Looking for a SSD

So I was just given an FX 8150 and a 970 extreme3 asrock.. Looks like ill be staying with amd. Im running a 16 meg cache 320 gig HDD and it isnt cutting it, very unreliable. I have a spare brand new GTX 560 ti Nvidia brand and I was going to sell it/trade it for a SSD and a case.. or just a SSD. What would be the best bet on a SSD. I dont want to spend to much, and for now I want it to be my one and only drive, so its gotta be 120.. unless for some reason there is a godly fast 64 gb one that I couldnt pass up, then ill get a storage drive.. But this deal seems very good, thought I dont know ANYTHING about the SSD speeds. what do you say about it?

Could you link me a few other contenders? nothing over 75 dollars unless its night and day performance.

do you think it would be possible for me to get a case and a SSD for a GTX 560 TI? nvidia branded. nothing special on the case. it is also brand new

Unless you are running that CPU at stock, I would get a more robust motherboard.

As far as SSD's go, look into the Samsung 840 EVO, or the Vertex 460 as well. Not sure on their pricing though. As far as the one you linked, it would be fine, but its IOPS are pretty low compared to the EVO and 460. Will you 'feel' that? Maybe.

Im looking to get a SSD for my main drive (I wont use more than 120 gigs, even a 64 gig would do me good if the speed was enough. What is my best bargain option. I do not want to spend a lot at all.

fx 8150
asrock 970 extreme 3 (What s wrong with my MOBO, someone complained)

4 gigs ddr 1600

320 GB trash HDD that I need to replace NOW.

evga GTX 580, and EVGA PSU.

what is the best option for me on a solid state drive? Anything wil do as long as its fast and CHEAP. Even a 64 GB one, if its fast enough. I cant stop coming back to this one... Are there any other better deals out there? I see bad reviews on it.. :/. Advice and pointing me in the product direction.

Link me better deals than this one, if you can find them.. but please read the research on it, It makes me nervous

just bombard me with bargain SSD's please. it would be appreciated. I also want a new processor, possiblyyy.

I have Samsung 840 series in one computer, Kingston HyperX in another, and Crucial in another. All seem to perform about the same. I have a PNY drive also, but I have not put it in a computer yet. They are all about the same, just stick with a name brand and you should be fine.

Could you take a sec and read these weird reviews? It seems too good to be true, especially after these reviews... They are completely absurd.

someone please take the time and read about the firmware updates and the complete studdering?? This scares me, but i NEED a harddrive, I dont have one besides the oldest sata they make

+1 on Samsung 840 Evo. In general though I don't see an average user noticing a huge difference between drives though so quality brand + on sale should suffice. Newegg has been having a ton of sales on a wide variety of SSD from 64gb all the way up to 500gb.

They are having a hard with firmware updates probably because they are running RAID. You cannot update firmware running RAID; you have to change to ACHI; update firmware then reset RAID.
