i have a HP pavillion dv6 notebook with;
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 480 @ 2.67GHz
Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB
Graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6550
Gaming graphics 2714 MB Total available graphics memory
Primary hard disk 377GB Free (569GB Total)

was wondering what i should upgrade first for a smoother gaming experience?:attn:

Because it is a laptop there is very little that you can upgrade, There is nothing that you can do about the CPU and the GPU, You can upgrade the ram but that is limited to what the OEM allows, one of the best upgrades you can do is to replace the HDD with a SSD as they are the same form factor. An SSD will improve the overall performance but not necessarily the gaming experience.

Heat, cooling, and battery life are some of the issues determining why most laptops are not suitable for gaming.

You can upgrade the ram and HDD but that is about it. At that point you can replace the laptop with another one or build/buy a gaming desktop for better performance.
