Ok i got $430 in my hand right now to blow on computers Yippie. Heres the dilema I was thinking about geting the geforce 4 ti 4600 or the ti 4400. The Ti 4600 as you all know if 100 big ones more than the Ti 4400 and it comes it at around $379. Well I need advice and what card to get the Ti 4600 or get the Ti 4400. The good thing with the Ti 4400 is I could spend another 100 bucks on other things for my comp but on the other hand the ti 4600 is insane. So I need help here what path should I take?

What are you going to be using the system for? Also, how good are all your other components of your system(cpu, ram, etc.). I'd say the 4400 is a great card and a good enough card to last you for a while to come.

It depends on what you wish to do, have the best Video Card for about 2 months (less) or upgrade other parts of your rig.

It all depends on your system spec now.
i.e. If its 3Ghz you don't need to upgrade :D

Good Luck,

Here you can get a PNY GEFORCE4 TI4400 DDR 128MB AGP (NO STOCK - Estimate arrival on 3/11/02) $260.78

or a PNY GEFORCE4 TI4600 DDR 128MB AGP (NO STOCK - Estimate arrival on 3/11/02) $338.89

Only 80.00 difference ,I think I will get the 4400 cause it comes with the free h3d shutter glasses ,the ti 4600 comes with a game (forgot which one atm)
P.S. This is cheaper then anything on price watch www.mwave.com

Or if you get bored with computers you can spend the money on something like this:

Great for backyard BBQs, thwarting would-be burglars and many other creative uses.

$400 to spend

I'd wait for nvidia's next card which should be out at the end of this year/beginning of next year. You could get a DVD-r drive...

Don't get a DVD-R drive.

They have only just decided on which Media to use, (about 36GB!!) so all the DVD-R drives a the moment will be useless in the near future.

yeah spend the money elsewhere and wait for the gr5 or whatever it will be called. Save some of it and use the rest for a nice H2S setup.

I'd say get the ti4400 and I'm sure you can find something good to spend the other $160 or $170 on.

Of course you know it will be the goal of every ti4400 owner to hit or exceed ti4600 speeds. Get a gf3ti200 and hang out for awhile. Use the rest on some other improvements or hang on to it for those quick deals.
