you might want a beefer psu becasue the 8800 sucks 28amps off the 12v rail.

as for ddr2 i would go ocz just because of there warranty lets you oc up to so much and its still us under warranty.

For the RAM - i would go with OCZ, they've always been consistent in the past

also, what cooler with you have for the CPU, you wouldn't, god forbid, use stock cooling?

I havnt decided on the cooler yet.. Im going to wait till i get all the stuff so i can determin how much room i have.

Hard drives and cd drives use very very little amps or watts.. I think hd are 10watt.. something low like that.

right now the best ram is D9 micron and no place better to get it than from crucial at the moment.

if I had to buy right now i would get the 800's. only $15 more than the 667's and it has $40 MIR, DO NO let the 667's fool you though, I got pair in my buddies rig doing 900 right now 4-4-4-8 at 2.0 lmao

its all the same ram after all

reading newegg reviews is like asking blind people what color shirt your wearing.
dont ever even waste time on newegg reviews, come here and see what these people have to say.
those gskills are great, I got my set for $250 though and those and the crucials are the same ram.

i dont know what the oczs are but like rattle said the crucial 800s are pretty sexy with that rebate.i believe the earlier issues with d9s and 965 chipsets were voltage related.mb dedaults 1.8 and the d9s need 2.0-2.2 to run their stated timings.i could be wrong tho.

I just got an 8800GTX 768MB.

The box says that the minimum requirements are that the PSU offers at least 30A on the 12V rail for the entire system.

link ;)

If not ill go with these.

And you sure these wont give me issues with my board.. some of the reviews had some issues with other asus boards.

again man if you wanna listen to reviews on newegg go right ahead, I have had hands on with 5 different D9 kits from different brands on p5b deluxe, p5w dh deluxe, DS3 gigabyte and dq6 gigabyte, the DS3 has problems with D9 ram and OCZ's ram has more problems with all boards if anything.

I dont use aim

and no you can use other than 800mhz ram in the p5w or p5b

it just uses a divider anyway 667 will be on a half divder to 266 and 800 would be a 2:3 divider to 266 on a stock mobo anyway.
