I have had a bad couple of days,had my motherboard (the one in me sig)out of the case cause my chipset fan wasn't turning,so I found one of the pins had worked its way up so it wasn't getting any connection,so I had the fan off the chipset and in doing so I had to redo the chipset mod for the SLI,well my daughter had a jar of pennies and she was handing the jar to me while my board was out on my deskwell the jar slipped and busted a capacitor and it cracked to where I could see copper
It was a heavy jar and my fault so I am not blaming her,it slipped out of my hands.
Well this isn't the half of it,I got on and ordered from Newegg same board and had it sent over night delivery.
Well this new board will not boot with 1 stick in the two lower slots,it will boot with the 2 top yellow and orange slots but not the two lower orange and yellow slots,using just one stick,is this board faulty?
I have tryed other sticks with the same out come.
Any help would really help..Thanks in advance.
