my cousin is coming down tomorrow from Toronto and he's bringing me some artic silver. Also can get a globalwin fop38. My dilema is that the fop38 only has the 3 or 4 pin connector on it right? Will that be sufficiant for my mobo??? I have a msi K7T Pro2-a socket A. I seen the globalwin wbk38 has the extra psu hook up. Which one would be best??? Can there be damageg caused to my mobo with the fop38???

tks for your time and knowledge.

if you dont have a lot of draw on the psu (multiple hd, roms, case fans, etc) and it is at least 300W you should be fine, although for the delta blacks the direct power supply hook up is always be better, you board might fluctuate power during hd spin up, rom spin up, etc.

tks for your time and knowledge.

It's not the FOP that's at issue here, it's the Delta fan that comes with it. You probably don't want to plug the Delta into your 2A fan header. If he can bring or you can get a 3 to 4 pin adapter so you can plug the Delta into a 4-pin molex on the PSU you'd be better off.
