Hey guys, so my cell phone got trashed today in a 4 wheeler accident, and i need a new one! But im not really sure what to get :( Here are the requirements that i need, and see if you guys can recommend me a few ones, thanks!

-Cingular compatiable
-flip phone
-camera
-bluetooth

My buddy just got a sliding phone....this one:
Samsung D807
It's pretty nice, when you slide it shut it automaticly locks all the buttons so you won't be dialing and hitting buttons when it's in your pocket. It's also not too expensive.

im guessing a "what NOT to get" suggestion would be equally as helpful; please please please dont join the razor trend. Its really a terrible phone, just last night it displayed its crappyness once again. I was hanging out with this girl and she wanted my phone number so i gave her mine and she called me right there in order to store hers in my phone. So she called me, but my phone didnt get the call and i was forced to manually put her number in. Missing calls completely, or not recieving a call until hours later is a common occurrence on my and my mom's razors. I highly suggest you NOT buy a razor.

Agreed, razrs are pretty sucky. I feel retarded for buying one :bang head

Also, was I the only one who expected this to be a thread about some pyramid scheme to give out "free" cell phones? :p

My opinion is varied on this. My friend has a Razr, and he likes it, minus several quirks. But, that is not because it's a Razr, but because his is a UK version that he ordered off eBay.

In response to your statement....that has nothing to do with the phone being a Razr, that's got something to do with your service provider. A phone does not just "miss" calls. It has one primary function, which is to pick up a signal. When it doesn't receive that signal, it doesn't do anything.

I would suggest avoiding the Sony Ericsson Z525a. I HAD one, and although it would never completely die (both screens wouldn't work, it would randomly do things, and only every third call would come in or go through, it never stopped working completely, and I really beat on it), it was horrible while it worked. I ended up ordering a Motorola L2 earlier today.

The Cingular Sync (Samsung A707) is a great flip-phone for the money. Has a nice 2MP camera and has a nice high res screen, it can stream video/music and is $50 with a 2yr contract.

The Cingular 3125 is also interesting as its a smart phone that has Office applications on it and also can play music/video. It is pricey though at $150.

I know it's not a flip phone, but I'm pretty sure the Sony Ericson Cybershot K800i is a Cingular phone. 3.2 mp camera...great styling.....I would pick up one of those in a heartbeat :)

I have a motorolla V710. Has all your requirements...except Im not sure about the cingular compatible...Im with Telus. Its a very strong phone...can be used and abused and it wont die. 1.3 megapixel camera...so its just an average camera.

I personally love my razr. It is verizon though. I have also done many many modifications to mine. I dont know why so many people have so many issues with their razr's. I have never had a problem with mine at all. Anyway, the Samsung A707 and the Samsung D807 seem like pretty good phones to me.
