Just hit 4 ghz tonight with some help from thideras...
Hasnt even been an hour yet, and I want to push it farther...How should I do it?
Whats the max safe vcore for my chip running 24/7?

You are trying to run 4ghz daily with a Q6700 and 1.6v?

Honestly, for daily on ambient WCing I'd say that's about as far as you can go.

For suicide runs I'd be comfortable with 1.65-1.7v just for screenies. I know my E6600 has seen that plenty of times.

I think you are allready a little to far for 24/7 but it may last.

I agree with the above, this is about as far as you should go if you intend to keep this CPU for a while.

Btw, I decided not to keep that for 24/7 speeds. I might use 3.8 @ 1.5325 or 3.6 @ 1.4925.
