I have a a7v 133 w/tbird 850 oc to 1gig 133x7.5 266mhz fsb my temps are great max temp under load now at 41-42c have done more cooling mods to case so now I want MORE SPEED (too much is never enough) I want to do the voltage mod but have never used a soldering gun on anything and I cant afford to damage my mobo right now, is there a way to perform the voltage mod w/o using solder??? I have both sets of dip switches and I use jumper mode for my setting I have the jumpers set as high as the board allows which is 1.88 vcore according to my bios I have tried to go to 133x8.0 but system wont boot need more voltage I think with my temps as good as they currenty are oc 150mhz I could get alot more and still be ok. Does the small voltage board disconnect from mobo or do you have to work on top of mobo??? any info or links would be very helpful Thanx in advance!!
Remember: If they say it cant be done it probably can
your imagination is your only obstacle. Peace to all and Happy Oclocking 8)

Take your board and parts ready to go to a good electronics repair shop and have them do the difficult soldering. Cheap insurance.
