Need help with activation

Hello..I just installed windows Xp home edition on my computer and when those keys pop up that display how many days you have left to activate..Well i click on that and it doesnt do anything it just disapeers so how can i activate windows now?

Personally, i find activation to be a large PITA. I havn't had the online activation work yet... i've always had to call them, and for reinstalls, I have to explain why I'm reinstalling.

If you install Win XP, then install SP1, then activate, it will activate thru the internet, and you will not have to call them.

You can open the Windows Product Activation Wizard by clicking Start | Run | Type...

oobe/msoobe /a...and click OK.
