I just got a Abit SH6 and I can't get it to boot into windows. Immediately after "Verifying DMI Pool..." I get a "Press any key to reboot" msg. I tried all my cpu, ram and cards on my old board and they work fine. I tried moving my SCSI card to different slots and using different sticks of ram, but no luck. Does anyone know if this problem can be solved by adjusting any setting in the BIOS? Or did I get a dead board?

Thanks in advance.

Charles

You probably have a problem with you operating system. Does it start windows at all? If not try to reinstall.

Try booting into safe mode, if you get in there, check device manager for probs/ then run a scandisc//// ussually helps to do that before anything drastic :)
