Hi,

I need help and advice on overclocking my comp.

Here are my system specs:

Pentium 4 1.5 GHz

Motherboard: Intel Corporation
Chipset: 850 (im not sure of the exact name)

FSB: 99.7

Ram: 256 MB

Hard Drive: 80 Gig

Graphic Card: ATI Radeon 9600 128 MB

Do you think I should overclock it?

I wanna overclock it cause im selling it right now, and I want it to be at its best when the guy who's buying it is gonna test it.

Can you please tell me all the stuff that I'll need to overclock it, and how much I could overclock it.

Thanks,
Gamezilla

Well overclocking a PC to sell it..hmm, I think you should leave it at stock. Due to the fact the heat generated. This will make you upgrade cooling equal to the amount of O/C you take it too. This adds to cost and you might not be able to get the investment back. Intel locked the CPU because people were O/C'ing CPU to get more outta a system, by selling it as higher rating.
I would paint it (case inside out) and give good run over in the cleaning dept. and get money that way, with a format/fresh install of an OS. Unless the person buying it, wants a O/C'ed pc, leave it stock. Paint is good investment versus return (IMHO) compared to O/C.

If it's an Intel i850GB motherboard, you can't overclock it.

Intel-brand motherboards do not have any overclocking features.
