Hello,i got the rtx 4090 rog strix oc and the ekwb waterblock with ABP

buy there is something wrong,u can see the cooling pads on the ABP???

I started your own thread for troubleshooting. :)

Are you sure it's the right block for the board? Is the memory (is that what's under the visible blue thermal pad) supposed to get cooled by that block? What block is it supposed to be, exactly? Can you link us to the block at the EK site?

EDIT: I see what block...but please link to confirm that and what GPU you have.

EDIT2: I don't understand what that thermal pad is doing there.... looking at the board it's on those two inductors up to and then nothing but PCB??? that doesn't look like the right location for such a thing. Looks like you applied it to a place that doesn't use one?

I am not in a good mood,yesterday i went to the pc shop where i buy most off my stuff

and asked if they will finish the waterblock with the card,they told me that they maybe wont do

it because i already started mounting the card to the waterblock,and if they do i must pay 80 bucks...

What do u guys think?
