Okay, So my idea is to take this really nice headset that I got with my old Samsung cellphone, and wire it into the 360s headset adapter.

Now... I have the older 360 headset type that has the big gray box with the volume and mute switch on it that plugs directly into the 360 controller.

I have what I need for it from here:
http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/mods/xbox-360-controller-headset-wiring-diagram.htm

So Im good there. But I took off the 3 ring tip of cellphone headset and Ive got 4 wires.

Red
Black
Green
and a bare wire.

The thing Im somewhat confused about...is the headset had a button on it...for activating voice call on a cell phone...this is also where the mic is located...

Much like the newer 360 headsets.

Theres only 4 wires.. I know the black and red or more than likely the mic..
And Ive tried to narrow it down by using a stero jack plugged into a mp3 player, and just trying different combos....without any luck.

Any help here?
:edit:
This is the headset..
