I need a answer to a question does anyone know or is there a way to make windows xp start from a past date for example, my brother got a virus on here and i need to go back a day is that possible?

Well, under most situations you can use System Restore. But, it rolls back by registry changes to restore from bad applications etc... I do not believe it work work in the case of a virus.

Well it seemed to do the trick the virus is long gone and my computer is workin like its brand new

The virus will still be on your computer - you just need to trigger it again. get a virus scanner and scan it for the virus ASAP.
