well, with VP6, the highest Vcore i can get is 1.90. and my system still can hit 1Gig! i need more Vcore so that i can stable at higher FSB! any idea? now i'm in 127FSB and i had 384mb unknown brand PC-133 ram with a temp at load 34C!

Have you tried vidpinning? there is a link for this in this section, look for VH6-2 ANY GOOD? and half way through you will find the link. Vidpinning may work may not, it did not work for me but has worked for many people it's a good article to read.

Doing the VID pins will allow more Vcore selections, but if you are using cc0 chips, you will have to modify the MB for it to work. Or you have to cut off or bend over pins on the cpus. With cb0 chips a straight "wrapping" job will work without the modifications.

Connect 1+3 to vss, to get 1.80
Connect 2+3 to vss, to get 1.90
Connect 0+2+3 to vss, to get 1.95
Connect 0+1+2+3 to vss to get 2.05

I did this on a mobo with no vcore adjustment, and didnt have to make any strange mods, i just wired the holes in the socket with a single strand of copper wire, easier than pin wrapping.

The diagram is of the top right of the socket btw, imaging that the socket lever is at the bottom.

well, kind of new in here, but can any one show me which corner are show in the pic above? let's said this is the bottom surface of the P3 chip:
A_______B
.................
..................
...Bottom ...
..................
C_______D
(due to limit, not very similar)

at top of A had a gold color triangle mark and at B had a gold color point! where is the corner state Vss, Vid1, vid2, and vid3 at? and does the post on top suit for CC0 stepping chip??

there are better pics in the intel proccesor section check a couple of the top post, also there is a complete article with great photos at hardocp.com good luck

err.......is that article are for cC0 stepping chip or for cB0? coz Tim- said cC0 are different from other! i don't want to take risk! better ask for detail! thank for ur advice!

It is for corner D, but done on the actual socket, not the cpu, as its easier putting the wires into the holes, than it is wrapping around very small pins. The diagram and notes are ONLY for cco PIII's, it is not applicable to celerons, or cbo's.

Hey Guys,

I dont have the problem on my mobo, I dotn know why, but if I select 1.65 on my mobo I get 1.7v, so I can get up to 1.95 just.. everything is off by .05v.. I dont mind :)

Guess I got lucky, or shitty psu?

FINALLY!!! i made it!! after the vidpinning, i get the Vcore up to 2.05V then my PIII-750 had made it to 1Gig with 133mhz! i hvn't try going up yet! but i was satisfier by now, later don't know! :) i heard 2.05 are too high and motherboard monitor show that it was 2.10V!! but i had drop down to 2.0V(mobo monitor=2.04) and start burn in....hopefully can get to boot in with 1.95V! :)
