When im connected to the internet for the last couple of days, something has been downloading to my computer. Its gone over 2 MB in size. So I stopped it.

I havnt installed any new software and my virus definitions are up to date.

Anyone recommend software that can determine what application is doing this?

I'd run ad-aware first of all. Assuming you have automatic critical updater turned off also.

Run Adaware and then get yourself a firewall program such as ZoneAlarm to monitor your internet/network traffic. You can block access from there.

You can find Zone Alarm here. I highly recommend it because it will block access into and out of your computer. What will happen is it will ask for such and such program to access the internet and you can hit yes or no. Then you find out what is doing what hopefully.

And its FREE!:D
