I bought a Thermoengine a coupla months ago and am wondering if there was a worthwhile upgrade ??
I dont want a heatsink thats only gonna give me coupla degrees difference (im already using a 42cfm fan on thermoengine)
Thermoengine on oc'd duron runs at between 40c - 45c @ ambient round 26c
Im sorta limited in how big it can be (asus insisted on putting a resistor near the socket on the a7v-133 didnt they....)
Is water cooling the next step....

i don't think there's much in the way of hsfs that will give you a dramatic drop. the insanely-expensive-swiftechs might take a good few degrees off, and the glaciator, by all accounts, is the hsf to beat. it's doubtful whether they'll give you over 5c difference, though.

as for water, that's a whole different story. imho, your chip's not hot enough to warrant water. unless you want to do it for the hell of it, i suppose...
