After completing the oc, should I enable the power saving settings in BIOS like cool and quite and c6?

Sometimes you can and others find just turning them back on does not work so well. Try and see since it will be different for each user and setup.

Hey, sorry for hijacking this.
But I'm trying to do the same overclock as BlargCraft.

CPU: AMD FX-4100 4-Core Processor, Socket- AM3+, 3.6Ghz. Running 4,5Ghz atm.
Cooler: Corsair H70 Kjøler + 2x SP120 Quiet Edt.
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3
Power Supply: Silver Power SP-SS500 500W PSU
Memory: Crucial DDR3 1333MHz 16GB 4x4GB
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 7850 2GB GDDR5 PCI-Express 3.0 (OC'd to 1050Mhz, from 860Mhz stock)
HDDs: Corsair SSD Force Series 3, 120GB 2.5" and a Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm.
Sound Device: Creative SB Recon3D Fatal1ty Champion
USB: Mouse, Keyboard, Headset and a Wireless-thingie.
Case: Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced
Fans: 1x 140mm Front, 1x 140mm Top, 1x 120mm Back (Fans and radiator to H70 cooling-system is mounted on the side-panel, makes it a bit harder to open the case. But fitted best there)
Running Windows 7 Ultimate

Been doing the same changes as BlarCraft.
Ram voltage to 1,55V. CPUNB 1,25V. Vcore 1,5V. And upped the multiplier till i got 4,5Ghz (x 22,5).

System seems to be running fine, and temps seems good and all. BUT when running Prime95 only core #0 and #1 is beeing tested, #2 and #3 gets a error-message.
When checking the activity with an AMD-prog it says that #0 and #1 is doing 100%, and #2 and #3 is at 0-10%, like ideling in windows.

Also on my earlier attempts. When going over 4,1/4,2Ghz, my sound got very crackling. Only change I've done since that is removing my internal Wi-Fi card, and replacing that with a USB-stick. (Did not mess with voltage etc then, all stood on Auto.)
Any idea what that was about ?

You certainly need to...

...attach the images as outlined below.

In order to attach screenshots of INDIVIDUAL images as suggested, first crop and capture the images with Snipping Tool found in Windows Accessories or equivalent. Then click on Go Advanced, a button at the bottom of every new post window. Then click on the little paperclip tool at the top of the Advanced post window when it opens. Clicking on the paperclip tool brings up the file browser/upload tool and the rest is fairly obvious.

Right then, back at stock settings now after a few issues. Thought I'd lost some cores there :p
Tested some at 4,6Ghz (4,7 gave me bluescreen with volt settings you advised to BlargCraft).
Anyways, 4,6 functioned kinda well for a while. Prime95 was messing a bit around, core #2 and #3 not running 100% (just idle'ing), then suddenly #1 was going idle too.

Tried running Black Ops II, all 4 cores were active there. Though the sound dissapeared after a while.
Went down to 4,5Ghz again, and suddenly I only had 2 cores.
Reset everything to Optimized default settings, and we're good again. At 3,6Ghz, wich obviously won't do it for me :)

Forgot to mention, as you can see on Task Manager; #1 went to 100% again after 3 mins of idle'ing. Then it went idle again 3 mins later.
And from CPUID, the 124celsius value. I'm assuming that is a sensor fault, as it doesn't make much sense...

HeyRGone,

Any chance of helping me OC the RAM?
