Ok heres the thing would it be better to run my 1.8a northie at 145fsb at 2.610ghz or 130fsb at 2.340ghz with more agressive timings at 130fsb. The bandwidth is much better on the 130fsb, but loses a couple hundred mhz. So my question would be which would cruch faster. Oh and go here to see the bandwidth of the 130 fsb which is quite a bit higher that 145fsb and tell me what you think. Mem scores

I would think having a faster FSB would be best for crunching. SETI seems to take advantage of the faster FSB and memory seems to be less intensive.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

You could try both ways and compare times. I run SETIQueue so I can keep my histories to refer back to when I make system changes. I'll usually find WU's with the same AR and compare times to see if there are any differences for before and after.

Benchmark both combinations of settings with our benchmark file (details on home page) and you'll have a concrete answer. Simple as that.
