ATI RADEON 5850 HD SLI
Sup everyone, First of all thank you for stopping in to check out my post and your input.

Im currently running an i7 920 (2.66ghz) on an X58A-UD3R F1 Rev.01 Mobo.
I currently have it over clocked to 3.8Ghz stable.
I am running two ATI Radeon 5850 HD SLI.
My current memory is 3x2gb triple channel OCZ (Pc3 12800 stock timings at [email protected] - OCZ3G1600LV6GK)
Windows 7 Ultimate.

Ok here are my specs. If anyone has any ideas on better voltage and also my goal is to get this stable at 4.0 or higher.

Oh also I have a corsair H70 hooked up in my Cooler Master Tower. Currently under load on Prime95 and Intel burn test my temps are 55c.

Thx for the reply. I have already read that post along with numerous others lol. hoping someone on here has similar setup and can give me a template to work off of or advise better options to change in my current setup.

The thing is that every chip is different and will behave in its own way. That's the reason templates are not the best way to go.
You should invest some time into getting familiar with "your" chip and how it respond to adjustments.

Well I have invested some time in mine. I went through the whole finding your max bclk. But i am a little confused. The guides say to drop your Cpu frequency multiplier down low while trying to find your max bclk. For example 12X instead of having it at 19 or 21. Then you change the bclk by increments of 10 until you reach your max base clock. Is this correct? If i drop my multiplier to 12x and then change my bclk to lets say 200. I may break even with the stock ghz. I dont see why you wouldn't just keep your multiplier at 19 or 21 and work on raising your bclk by 10 until you crash. Thus raising your VTT etc.

Am i understanding this part wrong?

Sorry if non of that makes any sense lol.

You drop the multi so that you are only testing for max bclk, if you're still running 21x then at 200bclk you're at 4.2ghz, and if it crashes you don't know whether it needs more vtt or more vcore.

Is it a C0 or a D0 CPU? Unless I missed it posted that will make a difference on your quest for 4GHz.. You shouldn't need to have your PLL higher than 1.81v either I would say...
