netbooks with backlit keyboard?

are there any netbooks 10"-11" with backlit keyboards?

No not from what I have seen. I do not think they will make that an option either.

No. Netbooks are really strapped for power in the first place, and while it may not seem like much in a larger laptop, to backlight a keyboard in a netbook would more than likely kill battery life.

Backlit keyboards are also an option on higherend laptops just because of that: they're higher end... i don't think you'll find that in many/any low end laptops/netbooks.

I kinda want to get that EL wire stuff and mod my eepc for a backlit keyboard. As long as I plug the thing into the wall who cares about power.
