I'm graduating from the Athlon XP market, and I'm looking at the new A64 Cores. I was planning to get a 3000 Venice, but do you think I should splurge on a San Diego 3700? Or should I get a 6800GT instead of a 6600GT? Help me out! Here's my latest concept build:

1. Should I buy a refurbished mobo? Do they come with everything that retail comes with such as cables, software, etc. ?
2. I've really cut down on gaming lately, and reviews say that the 6600GT still smooths BF2 and the like really well. Lots of people I've talked to say it will become outdated too fast, and that I need a 6800GT. But I feel like I can spend the extra $150 on something more useful. Should I not consider two 6600GTs in SLI? I trust you guys with the last word on this.
3. Normally I run stuff like iTunes, Firefox, Photoshop, AIM, Outlook all at once. Tell me if I would notice a huge difference between a Venice and a San Diego.
Thanks for any comments!
