Hi,

This is the first time I have ever messed with memory so I may be doing something dumb

I have a new build, Corsair DDR5 Dominator 6800mhz

In Extreme tweaker it says target DRAM Freq 4000

I manually set to 6800 in “DRAM Frequency” - wont post and goes to safe mode. Won’t post at anything higher than 4000.

I read I am supposed to turn on XMP but cannot figure out how,

Any advice?

You can enable it on the EZ page (where it says XMP on the left), or in advanced in the Ai Tweaker section, should be the second one down, Ai Overclock Tuner.

EDIT: What slots do you have them installed in? A2 and B2, correct? (see your manual)

I am going to ask another question

I have done OCCT memtest with no errors. My Q Code is going 46-47-49-54-50-51 etc etc

I am used to it being A0 all the time. I am having no issues thought. The PC is running sweetly.

Why?
