Hi guys, Trying to do this long distance, A friend is in Texas visiting his father, He got a new rig for X-mas and they are trying to get it working, I-7 2600, ASUS P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN3 motherboard, 16gigs of corsair vengence DDR3, Gigabyte 560TI video card, PSU is an OCZ 600 watt. When he goes to boot fans all spin on CPU Cooler and Video card, But he get's no video and the Red CPU error light on motherboard lights up. Did the normal troubleshooting over the phone, Tried one stick of RAM at a time, Made sure CPU power pins plugged in. Video card plugged in.
Any ideas on what to try next?, His Dad and him are getting kinda frustrated, I guess they have been messing with it for several hours.

Thank You

RMA CPU? Unless they have a spare CPU / PSU to test with, I don't see too many options.

They were sticking that ram into the correct slot right? IE; slot 0 on the board?
