I am considering a new build, really just to keep up and migrate to Win 11 when I am forced to. My current system is very old and I cannot update the TMP even with an add in card because Gigabyte won't update the bios to enable it. I am wondering if it is still an issue with these guys as the new mobo has a 12 pin TPM header and is another gigabyte. I swore I wouldn't give them more money after they refused to release the updated bios but price and and wanting six sata ports brought me back. I have not kept up with things since my current build and am hoping there are no obvious pitfalls and issues with any parts not liking others. If it lasts as long as my 4690, it will probably outlast me. I am going to link the parts I am getting so if you see a problem let me know before I hit the buy button. Thanks in advance if your willing to help.

The main thing is cost because I am justifiably cheap and SS isn't keeping up with inflation. I have read a few issues about micro code and heating issues with the newer generations of Intel CPU's in the past and I am hoping to not have any issues but nothing is ever guaranteed. I am also hoping it is future proof as it looks like thing have not progressed that much since my last build except cores and ram.

you won't be disappointed with that cooler!!!! I'm running that now and before that I had corsair h150i elite capellix and the nzxt kraken 360 and they don't even compare to the arctic!!!

Good to hear, I have no experience with the brand but really like the price.
Post magically merged:

You could save a few $$ if you go with the i7 instead of the i9. Not really sure what 4 extra E-cores are going to bring to the table.
Yeah, I thought about that but the e cores may come in handy in the future and I thought that maybe the I9's might be binned separating the I7's that might not be quit as good. That and I never had a top tier CPU before but for 25 bucks I am splurging on that one thing.

Im in the middle of my build but i did buy a few things you may want to look at. This AIO is very highely ranked and compared to units costing twice the price.

This ram is the same speed but $5 cheaper and has much tighter timings.

I used this case and it looks identicle as the one you posted, Buy 3 more 120mm fans for the bottom.
If your mobo is an ATX be aware it gives you no room at the top or bottom and the side near the back.

I have already completed my new rig using all of the parts that I listed, I tried to update my signature but it wouldn't let me saying it was to many lines.
I cannot complain about any of the parts used, rig is almost dead silent sitting next to my knee, much better then I expected and doesn't need anymore then the four fans that came with it and held six 2.5 sata drives behind plate in the back. They are loosely stacked but still hidden.

Awesome! How about some pictures???!! :)

There's a limit, yes. Nobody likes massive signatures. It really breaks up the flow of posts. But you should still be able to fit a full rig in there... you're already doing it.
