I really like the Fractal Arc Midi R2. Three out of the last 4 PCs I've built have used it.

However, I'm wondering if there is another case I should take a look at for my next build.

Probably looking ATX motherboard.

Corsair C70 and Air 540 has my interest. I don't know much about the C70. I built in an Air 240 and the build quality hasn't quite on par with the Fractal. Cool case, just felt more ... (literally) rough around the edges.

What are you looking for that the Midi R2 doesn't have? One of the biggest hurdles with case advice is aesthetics. Everybody has a different opinion on what's "cool".

I like basic exteriors (like the Midi :)). I'm just wondering if there are other cases which are more feature-rich or perform better from a cooling perspective. If there are, I'll take a look and see if I could deal with them aesthetically :)

I have both an Arc Midi R2 and A C70. Push comes to shove I like the C70 better with a couple caveats. I changed the acrylic side panel of the C70. The one with the fan mounts is horrid looking. It would be nice if you could mount two 140 mm front fans but that is nitpicking. I really like how the side panels attach. Plus the case is sturdy. I actually bought three Arc Midi's. Basically what I don't like about them is the smoked glass. The stock fans are garbage. Most have a distinct fan wobble. The killer for me ended up being that I decided the Arc Midi's were just too plain and yes boring. I just bought two NZXT CA-S340W's for a couple builds. I love the bottom shroud. I also love the small footprint and symmetry of the side window with no 5.25" drive bays to make the case oblong. This case isn't for everyone of course. Minuses would be lack of room for extra fans and radiators for some people.

Ended up going with a Phanteks Enthoo Pro for $100 (was the same price as the Midi R2).

Fingers crossed that it is on par with the Midi. :D

Very Nice! I think my next will be with the Luxe. If and when that time ever comes.

I've been reading about the Thermaltake Core series quite abit. These maybe the next addition to the list assuming I don't find may negatives. Way to much space for what you're looking for though.

(RE)-EDIT: Here's the Core V1. Maybe it's what you like, maybe not. I just noticed its mITX
