hey everyone, if just like some advice on the new computer im building soon. this is what im planning:

Case: not sure, something under $80, mid-tower, somthing that can hold a few 120mm fans, dont need window (needs to be cold )
Motherboard: Abit NF7-S
CPU: AMD Athlon 2500+ mobile
PSU: fortron 530?
RAM: not sure
Fans: 2+ 120mm fans not sure brand
Video Card: sapphire atlantis 9800 pro 128mb
Sound card: none (already have an sb audigy gamer)
cd/floppy drives already have

I assume you already have a hard drive??? If not i'd recommend the raptor 36bg from personal experiances.
 
Make sure that saphire card is 256bit and not 128 bit! - (was it those cards that were doing that?)
 
get a thermalright heatsink, either sp 97 or slk-947u. Maybe a Zalman northbridge heatsink as well. Or get the new thermalrght NB hs that is coming out.
 
PSU: 300-350W Sparkle (Sparkle PSUs are the same as Fortron PSUs with the same model number.)
Sound Card: Passive Southbridge heatsink-A Zalman northbridge cooler will do, or what you have is fine.
CPU Heatsink:SP-97
Northbridge heatsink: Passive Zalman northbridge cooler or Thermalright NB-1C
