I was wondering if there was a clear advantage to the new DD Maze2 design vs the old Maze2 design? I will be using the block on a 1.33 AXIA-Y, with a DD Cooling Cube and an Eheim 1048 pump. All hoses and cooling system components will be within one foot of eachother, so pump head pressure should not be that great of an issue. If I choose to overclock, or not, will the new Maze2 design yield an appreciable reduction in temperature over the old Maze2 design? Thank you.

I don't think anyone has a new one yet, but I am betting that the improvement won't be more than 1 deg C if even that.

danger den said they started shipping the new style at the beginning of july.. and i ordered mine at the beginning of july, so i emailed em and they said i prolly have the new style... but who knows...

the new style looks alot better than the old one. There should be alot less resistance.

I am sure there will be some tests soon. I suspect the new blocks advantages will show up most in high load conditions such as with pelts.
